Licorice extract

A large number of studies have shown that glycyrrhizin and flavonoids are the most important physiologically active substances in licorice, mainly in the parts of the licorice root epidermis.
Licorice is also widely used in the food industry to refine candies (salmiakki), preserves and chewing gum. Licorice extract is an emulsifier for making chocolate. It also increases the wine's taste and aroma, improves the consistency and color of dark beer, and makes certain soft drinks and liqueurs. In the chemical and printing and dyeing industries, licorice is also widely used.
Production process: The entire process is operated in the GMP specification factory.
Extraction principle:
  • High temperature - high temperature centrifugal spray drying.
  • Low temperature - low temperature vacuum continuous drying.
The minimum extraction volume is 3 tons (the extraction tank size is 3 tons).
