The nutrients of Grifola frondosa are the first of a variety of edible fungi. The content of VB1 and VE is about 10~20 times higher, the VC content is 3~5 times that of similar products, and the protein and amino acid content is twice that of mushrooms. Lysine and arginine are higher than Flammulina velutipes; the content of aspartic acid and glutamic acid associated with umami is high, so it is called "the prince of edible fungus" and "the ginseng of North China".
